Jesus is the Reason

Isaiah 9:6
New Living Translation

6 For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

In your effort to show loved ones how much you love them, don't forget Jesus is the reason for this season. He left His place in Heaven seated next to the Father so that He could give you a more abundant life.

This is also a time of year when many are depressed for a number of reasons. They are grieving because they lost a loved one, they don't have enough money to buy expensive gifts, or they have no family or friends. Remember this, Jesus is a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

If you don't know Him, I invite you to meet this wonderful Savior
Romans 10:9-10
New American Standard Bible

9that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Just Be B.A.D.

Psalm 91:3
Amplified Bible

3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.

B.A.D. -- While shopping at a local Wal-Mart, a woman spotted a man with an acronym on his shirt that had B.A.D.

Being the person that she was (curious), she stopped the man and asked, "What does B.A.D. stand for?"

He replied B.A.D. stands for: "Blessed And Delivered". That thought stuck with her as she finished doing her shopping that day. So she came up with a little advice for us today.

1. When the enemy tries to attack you, be B.A.D.

2. When things don't seem to be going right on your job, be B.A.D.

3. When things are not looking good in your marriage, be B.A.D.

4. When folks scandalize your name , just be B.A.D.

Get with somebody who you know that you can be B.A.D. with!!!

May God Bless You And Have A B.A.D. Day! Any person that can kneel before God can stand before anything .

Now send this to the people who you know don't mind being B. A. D.

Aren't you glad you're B. A. D. ?!!

Are You Ready for Bigger Things?

Bishop E. Earl Jenkins

"You...enlarged me when I was in distress." Psalm 4:1 AMP

Did you know that the hermit crab looks for a shell that fits him, then lives in it till he outgrows it? At that point he has to scurry along the ocean floor and find a bigger one; it's a process that repeats itself throughout his entire life. Are you clinging to something that no longer fits you, just because it's easy and familiar? David said, "You...freed me when I was hemmed in and enlarged me when I was in distress." To develop and grow spiritually you must be willing to move out of your comfort zone and deal with a little 'distress.'

What worked for you yesterday may not work today. Maybe it's a job you've outgrown, a relationship you need to reexamine or a behavior you need to change. Regardless of what it is, never become so 'settled' that you can't let go and move on when you need to.

Patience and persistence are admirable, but they won't work in situations you've outgrown. Instead of hanging in and trying harder, at certain points you have to stop and ask yourself, "Is this situation good for me?" If you're not sure, ask God for "an understanding mind [to]...know the difference between...right and...wrong" (1Ki 3:9 TLB). His Word says, "If you need wisdom...ask [him], and he will [gladly] give it to you" (Jas 1:5 NLT).

When God says it's time to move on, it's because there's another shell out there that will fit you even better. But you can't take occupancy till you vacate the old one. So how about it - are you ready for bigger things?

Time to Reap What Was Sown

Galatians 6:7-9
Holman Christian Standard Bible

7 Don't be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap, 8 because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. 9 So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.

2 Corinthians 9:6
New International Version

6Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

You are about to enter a season when you will reap what you've sown. The seeds that you have planted are about to bloom. You have sown a seed through tithes and offering, you are about to reap because you did it joyfully. You have sown seeds through prayer and fasting.Marvel at the greatness of an awesome God as you see the manifestation of those seeds. You have sown seeds of praise and worship, watch as God shows Himself strong for you. Don't get tired now. You are entering into a season of harvest.

On the other hand, if you have sown seeds of complaining, fear and doubt...you have delayed your promise. God is not mocked. You will reap what you've sown. If you have held back your finances, prayer, fasting, praise, and worship, you will continue to be in the state you are in.

Today is turn around day. You have sown your seeds in good ground and are about to reap. If you have sown your seeds in ground that is not fertile. You can turn it around and begin sowing in good ground.

God Bless

God is in Control

Unknown

This was sent to me and made me stop and think. I know this as you do, but sometimes we need a little reminder.

God Has It Under Control!
Don't get worked up...
God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up. Matthew 6:34 TM

Fear is just a 'grown-up version' of worry! If you let one in, the other comes with it. Stop and take inventory of the things you worried about last year, or even last week, how many came to pass?

And how many did you change by worrying? And did worrying make them better or worse? And what about the physical and emotional toll it's taking on you? And what does your worrying say to those who kno w you're a follower of Christ?

And when are you going to face up to the fact that you worry so much - and do something about it? "What can I do?" you ask.

You'll only stop worrying about tomorrow, when you learn to place it in the hands of the One who holds all our tomorrows. Listen: "Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you" ( Psalm 37:5 NLT).

By committing each day to the Lord, you're trusting Him to go before you and work things out in your favor. It's amazing what you accomplish when you live trusting God a-day-at-a-time.

When you go through difficulties you discover things about God (and yourself) you never knew before; things that make you stronger, wiser and more compassionate.

Here's an idea - instead of worrying, attack your anxieties with the promises of God. Go ahead, bring your fears into His presence and watch them shrivel: "It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life" God is in Control

Pray without ceasing, God hears what you say, From the moment you rise, to the close of the day, Don't think for a moment, that He turns a deaf ear, Trust and have faith, and you'll never know fear.

Santificaion Through Suffering

Brent Barnett

There is a serious misconception that is becoming increasingly widely held within evangelical circles which teaches that, as believers, we have the right on this earth to have freedom from sickness, financial struggle, and, in fact, struggle and suffering of almost any kind and any nature. This position and line of thinking is so contrary to the full counsel of Scripture that I can only marvel at how and why followers of Christ would believe it. Yet they do, having been deceived. It is true that in Christ we have every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3) and the privilege of being seated at the right hand of God (Ephesians 2:6). In Christ, we are healed…spiritually, from the greatest sickness of all, sin and the wages thereof, namely death (see 1 Peter 2:24). Though it is true Christ healed many, many people during His earthly ministry, it is also true that this was not the main thrust of His kingdom message. His message was to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand (Matthew 3:2). It wasn’t that man no longer has to worry about being poor or sick; rather, Jesus’ message was that, though in this life we will have trial and tribulation, we ought not to fear, worry, or lose hope because He has overcome this world (see John 16:33). A true kingdom focus accepts that life on this earth is imperfect because the world is fallen (Romans 3:23, 8:22, Genesis 3:17), and such a mindset looks forward to the hope that is yet to come. The problem with much of the teaching of today is that it is extremely focused on what God can do for me in this life rather than what I should be doing for God in light of the life to come. Temporary blessing which comes to be defined as health, wealth, and prosperity comes to replace true spiritual blessing of holiness, freedom from sin, and the privilege of storing up treasure in heaven. This life is so short when compared to eternity, and eternity, not what rust and moths can destroy (Matthew 6:19-20), ought to be our single focus and driving hope (see 1 Peter 1:13).

The Biblical writers had no problem understanding that suffering was normal in this life. Jesus had said that His followers would be persecuted for righteousness’ sake (Mark 13:13). In fact, persecution itself is to be considered a blessing because it is an honor to suffer for the name of Christ (Matthew 5:10). Paul spoke in 1 Corinthians 4 of this present suffering being relatively insignificant when compared to eternity to come (see 1 Corinthians 4:16-18). He suffered greatly, being beaten, shipwrecked, stuck out in the cold, stoned, imprisoned, and eventually beheaded for Christ’s sake (2 Corinthians 11:23-28). This man knew suffering. Even when he had the privilege of experiencing profound heavenly visions (2 Corinthians 12:1-6), God ordained and allowed a minister of Satan to torment and buffet him. God knew that Paul needed this to keep him humble so that he would not exalt himself (2 Corinthians 12:7). So we see that suffering is both normal in the life of the believer, and it has potential refining and sanctifying qualities. Therefore, let us not suppose that suffering in this life is merely something due to a Christian lacking faith, but let us come to understand and believe that God has a plan and purpose in ordaining suffering for us in this life.

The great part is that He doesn’t leave us in the dark as to what some of His purposes might be. James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Scripture does not say if we encounter trials but when. Trials will happen. Jesus experienced them, even having to die unjustly for our eternal blessing. Paul experienced them, the disciples experienced them, and we also will experience them. Why are we surprised? Peter tells his brothers and sisters whom he loves in 1 Peter 4:12, "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you." We ought not to be surprised at difficulties and suffering in our lives. When it happens, we can be sure that God knows what is going on, that He is sovereign over our circumstances, and that He will cause all things to work for our good (Romans 8:28). But suffering will happen, and it is in suffering that we must learn, as Paul did, that God’s grace is sufficient and that His strength is perfected when we are weak (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Suffering is not a sign of weakness; rather, it helps us to see our weakness. It is only when we come to see, believe, accept, and embrace that we are helpless and weak apart from Christ that Christ can truly fill us, use us, and make us strong in His name for His kingdom purposes. It is suffering that produces character, endurance, and hope. Romans 5:3-5 says, "And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." If we want to be happy, we must not think that money, health, or earthly prosperity will bring it. It is the love of God alone that can meet our deepest longings and needs such that, even when we are in the midst of great trial, we can still have joy. Trials are not evil, pain is not necessarily bad, and suffering can be for our good. In fact, those who suffer have a great opportunity by faith to be refined unto the likeness of Christ as their weaknesses and impurities come to the surface so that the Refiner can purify their souls. Furthermore, as we see God continue to provide and strengthen us to do His will even under great duress, our faith grows such that we are able to keep believing and keep obeying even better than before.

So let us fix our eyes entirely on eternity, our spiritual blessings in Christ, and the great rewards that are to come. Suffering has its place and purpose here so that we look forward to eternity and live in light of eternal priorities now. My prayer is that where necessary, God would allow suffering into our lives so that we can be refined to His glory. It is a tough prayer, but it is a safe prayer because God is good, faithful, and true. Lord, we are Yours; make us more like Jesus, whatever it takes. Amen.

God Thinks You're Wonderful

Isaiah 49:16
New American Standard Bible

16"Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me.

It may be difficult for you to believe that God knows your name...but He does. Your name is written in His hands. It is spoken by His mouth and whispered by His lips. You have captured the heart of God and He cannot bear to be without you. He is always thinking about you. He is concerned about everything that concerns you.

You are not a face in the crowd. You are not a forgotten child. When the wind blows, He is whispering, " I love you". No matter what anyone has said to you or about you, God thinks you're wonderful.

Holding Patterns

David Langerfeld

Revelation 2:25
New International Version

25Only hold on to what you have until I come.

Many times, God will allow a painful situation or a painful circumstance in our life to "swallow us up." This season in our spiritual growth is a holding pattern. We can't move to the left or the right. All we can do is sit, like Jonah sat in the belly of that great fish, so God can have our undivided attention and speak to us.

God put Jonah in a holding pattern because He needed to speak to his heart. Jonah was all alone. There were no friends to call, no colleagues to drop by, no books to read, no food to eat, no interferences, and no interruptions. He had plenty of time to sit, think, meditate, and pray.

When we're deep down in the midst of a difficult situation, God can talk to us. When He has our undivided attention, He can show us things about ourselves that we might not otherwise have seen.

A few of God's holding patterns...

1. When you are sick in your physical body and you have prayed, but you're not yet healed, you are in a holding pattern.

2. When you are having problems with your children and you have put them on the altar, but God has not delivered them yet, you are in a holding pattern.

3. When you have been praying for a loved one to return to God, and they have not come back yet, you are in a holding pattern.

4. When you are in a broken relationship and you have given it over to God, but it has not been restored yet, you are in a holding pattern.

5. When the doors slam shut before you can even knock on them, you are in a holding pattern.

When we are deep in the belly of a difficult situation, there are no interruptions. God has our undivided attention. All we can do is sit, think, meditate, and pray. Like Jonah, we cannot run from God, because there are no mountains that are high enough, valleys that are low enough, rivers that are wide enough, rooms that are dark enough, or places that are hidden from Him.

We must remember to praise Him while we're waiting, and remember three things:
1. The pattern has a purpose.
2. The pattern has a plan.
3. The pattern has a process.

So stop struggling and start listening, praying and trusting. He'll keep you right where you are until you can clearly hear Him say, "I love you."

"Father, forgive my unbelief. I know you love me and I will come to see the benefit of everything in my life, even this holding pattern, and the manifestation of my Good is assured through You. You have planned nothing for me but victories and I am ready to receive them regardless of how difficult the path."

Do Not Accept a Counterfeit

Romans 4:20-21
New American Standard Bible

20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

What God has promised, He will perform. Don't give up on the promises that God made. The devil will come along with something that looks like the real thing. Don't be mislead. It is not the real promise. It is a counterfeit. The devil can imitate but never duplicate. The devil will make promises that he cannot and will not keep.

Make up in your mind today, that you cannot and will not accept a substitute. You cannot and will not be denied of what rightfully belongs to you. Do not waver in unbelief but grow strong in faith. Give God glory while you wait. The devil has set up a smoke screen but stay on track. You are so close to the fulfillment of the promise. You are on the verge of a blessing, a miracle, a breakthrough. So, the devil has sent or will send a counterfeit. How do you determine if it is a counterfeit? 1.Try the spirit by the spirit. 2.Does it line up with the Word of God? 3. Finally, do you get a witness in your spirit?

God Bless

The Four Blessed Looks

Psalm 121
New Living Translation

Psalm 121
A song for pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem.
1 I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleeps.

5 The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon at night.

7 The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever.

1.Look back and thank God.
2.Look forward and trust God.
3.Look around and serve God.
4.Look within and find God!"

"I asked God, 'How do I get the best out of life?' God said, 'Face
your past without regrets. Handle your present with confidence. And
prepare for the future without fear!'"

To the point!!!

Acts 16:25-26
New International Version

25About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.

Don't Get Too Attached

2 Corinthians 4:18
Holman Christian Standard Bible

18 So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

When I describe it, you'll be able to visualize it. I'm certainly not the first person who has observed it. But there is a lesson in it we both may have overlooked.

There are some children on a beach. They're playing at the edge of the water. Giggling. Building sandcastles. They seem so intent on the project. You get amused at how meticulous and careful they are with crumbly corners and tiny turrets. The looks on their faces as they screw their mouths around and stick out their tongues in earnest concentration are priceless.

Then a big wave starts to close in! But the kids don't panic. They do the strangest thing. They jump to their feet, scream with excitement, and watch the waves wash away their creations. There is no hysteria. No sadness. No bitterness. Even little children know the fate that awaits sandcastles. So they are neither shocked nor angry when the tide comes in.

You and I should be so wise. The stuff of this world is about as permanent as sandcastles on a beach. Yet we get so caught up in it, defensive over it, and depressed over the loss of it. But God didn't create you for this world. Your destiny is not bound up in cash and bonds, land and houses, fame and monuments. So living to be a hundred years old is far less important than living well - Even if for a relatively short time. Beautifying your body is not nearly as urgent as living with a pure heart before God.

Children know that their castles in the sand are brief joys destined to be taken away by an incoming tide. So they don't fret as the waves approach. They typically watch their creations get swept away without shedding tears.

Everything about this life is so transient. The incoming wave of our mortality is going to sweep it all away. Like sandcastles at the edge of the ocean, nothing we do for the sake of this world can survive. Only what you do here for eternity will last. Only the treasures you send ahead will escape corruption.

What would the loss of your job or business do to you? What if your house were to go up in smoke tonight? What if a pain sent you to the doctor and led to the discovery that you have only a few weeks to live? These things really do happen to people, you know. We are all vulnerable. We are all quite mortal. Everything about our existence here is about as enduring as sandcastles.

Life is God's gift. Revel in every good thing. Enjoy your castles in the sand. Just be careful not to let yourself get unduly attached to any of them.

Coming Full Circle

Colossians 2:10
New King James Version

10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

As the year of 2008 approaches, watch as God brings everything full circle. He is tying up loose ends. He is working hard to complete any unfinished business. 2007 is a year of completion and rest. Everything that you went through good and bad was to make you complete in Christ. 2008 is a year of new beginnings. Rejoice in this season of thanksgiving and celebration of Jesus.

No matter what comes your way in the coming weeks, it is only part of the process. The process of your completion is almost over. There is nothing that will happen that God does not know about and that He is not the head of. All principalities and powers are subject to God. If you think back to the beginning of the year, and look at what is going on now; you have come full circle.

Give Thanks

2 Corinthians 9:15
Amplified Bible

15Now thanks be to God for His Gift, [precious] beyond telling [His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift]!

Is God Listening?

Isaiah 59:1-2 KJV
1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Do you sometimes feel that God isn't listening? Do you feel frustrated because you are still struggling with the same old pain, the same old trouble, the same old problem?

Search your heart for the answer as to why God seems to not hear your cries. Many times we can find the answer in this passage of scripture. It is sin. It begins with disobedience, turns into not trusting Him, then doubt, fear and unbelief join the sin party and before you know it you are so far from the perfect plan God has for your life you question whether He can hear you at all.

What's the solution? Repent! Simply ask God for forgiveness. If you aren't sure where and what the sin is, ask the Holy Spirit to come and reveal it to you and repent. Then the flood gates of God's blessings are free to move into your life and help you to overcome anything the devil has put in your path.

God Bless

You Have Authority

These are words that should never come out of the mouth of a believer in God, because you shouldn't be under your circumstance your circumstance should be under you...

And the Lord shall make you the head and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if thou hearken to the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command unto you this day, to observe and to do them.

Deuteronomy 28:13

He Will Complete It

Philippians 1:6
New International Version

6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Not let circumstances dictate your outcome. God started it and He will complete it. He cannot lie. He cannot fail. If He promised it, He will perform it. God sits outside of time. His timing is sure. If it hasn't happened yet, it isn't complete. God is still working behind the scenes. Don't quit. Don't give up.

The enemy has planted seeds of worry, doubt, fear, and anxiety. Don't let them grow. His ways are not your ways. His word does not comeback void. God will complete it.

God Bless

It's What Your Carrying

John 7:38
King James Version

38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

If it seems as if all hell is breaking out in your life, let me put you on notice. It's not you. The devil is not after you, but he is after what is in your belly. He wants that anointing, that ministry, that business, that seed that river of living water. God has downloaded you with greatness. The devil wants to stop the flow of your river. Don't you dare let him. You have entered a new level of warfare. It's time to get past fighting the deal. Mature Christians, even baby Christians can fight the devil. It is time to annihilate the devil and every plot and plan he has for you.

Don't feel like God has forgotten you or is punishing you for something you did or didn't do. He has put His living water in you. The devil is trying to stop the flow. But God won't let him. God is allowing you to be strengthened and molded. Don't start ego tripping, thinking that you are so great. God put His greatness in you. The devil is after what you are carrying.

God Bless

Step in the Water

John 5:4
King James Version

4For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

The water has been troubled, all you have to do is step in. Once you step in the water you will be made whole. This is your set time of deliverance. If you want to be healed step in the water. It is time to let go of that "stuff" that is holding you back. It is time to go higher and deeper in God.

Jesus is the living water. If you want to be delivered from sickness, step i the water. If you want to be free from low self esteem, oppression, and depression... step in the water. If you want to be free from the " that's impossible" syndrome...step in the water. If someone broke your heart and you need a healing...step in the water. If the enemy is holding up your blessing...step in the water.

God Bless

In the Presence of Your Enemies

Psalm 23:5
New Living Translation

5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings.

God has prepared a feast for you. You are about to dine in the presence of your enemies. God is about to show out for you. He is laying out blessings that you won't even have room enough to receive. They said you wouldn't make it. They said it was impossible. You have been bold enough to believe what God said. Now, you are about to see the manifestation of what He promised.

What is a feast? any rich or abundant meal,a periodical celebration or time of celebration commemorating an event, person, etc.

Get your fork and knife. Tie a napkin around your neck and dig in.

The Blood

unknown

One night in a church service a young woman felt the tug of God at her heart. She responded to God's call and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The young woman had a very rough past, involving alcohol, drugs, and prostitution. But, the change in her was evident. As time went on she became a faithful member of the church.

She eventually became involved in the ministry, teaching young children. It was not very long until this faithful young woman had caught the eye and heart of the pastor's son. The relationship grew and they began to make wedding plans.

This is when the problems began. You see, about one half of the church did not think that a woman with a past such as hers was suitable for a pastor's son. The church began to argue and fight about the matter. So they decided to have a meeting.

As the people made their arguments and tensions increased, the meeting was getting completely out of hand. The young woman became very upset about all the things being brought up about her past. As she began to cry the pastor's son stood to speak. He could not bear the pain it was causing his wife to be.

He began to speak and his statement was this: "My fiancée’s past is not what is on trial here. What you are questioning is the ability of the blood of Jesus to wash away sin. Today you have put the blood of Jesus on trial. So, does it wash away sin or not?"

The whole church began to weep as they realized that they had been slandering the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Too often, even as Christians, we bring up the past and use it as a weapon against our brothers and sisters.

Forgiveness is a very foundational part of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. If the blood of Jesus does not cleanse the other person completely then it cannot cleanse us completely. If that is the case, then we are all in a lot of trouble. What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus! End of case!!!!

"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:23

This prayer is powerful and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to pray for one another. Here is the prayer:

"Father, I ask you to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace.

In Jesus' precious name.

Amen

...the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27

Everyone Can't Sit in Your Front Row

Unknown

Philippians 3:8
New Life Version

8 Even more than that, I think of everything as worth nothing. It is so much better to know Christ Jesus my Lord. I have lost everything for Him. And I think of these things as worth nothing so that I can have Christ.

Life is a Theatre - Invite your audience carefully.

Not everyone is spiritual or emotionally healthy enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that are best loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, pointless relationships, friendships, and fellowships!

Consider your current relationships.

Pay attention to who lifts and who leans? Who encourages and who discourages? Who is on a path of growth and who is going down fast? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Who always has drama?

The more you seek God and godly thing, the more you seek quality; the more you seek not just the hand of God but the face of God, the more you seek things honorable; the more you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth around you, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life.

You cannot change the people around you, but you c an change the people you are around! Ask God for wisdom and discernment and use these gifts to choose the people who sit in the front row of your life.

Let Your Haters Be Your Motivators
(but let them do it from afar)

When My Heart is Overwhelmed

Psalm 61:2
Amplified Bible

2From the end of the earth will I cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and fainting; lead me to the rock that is higher than I [yes, a rock that is too high for me].

Murphy's law says anything that could go wrong will. Every feel like that? What do you do? It seems like after you get through that, here comes this. Has your heart ever been so broken that you did not know what to do? God says when your heart is overwhelmed, He will lead you to the rock that is higher than you. Who is the rock? He is. What is the rock that is higher than you? He will bring you up into heavenly places with Him. As you begin to worship Him, He will bring you into that secret place where it is just you and Him.

God allows circumstances in life to change so that He can bring you into an dimension, a deeper level, a higher place in God. When people turn their back on you, He will lead you to the rock. When your bills outnumber your dollars, He will lead you to that rock. Go into that place in God. Sit on His lap, let Him wipe away your tears, frustrations, and disappointments.

Shout the Wall Down

Joshua 6
The Message

1 Jericho was shut up tight as a drum because of the People of Israel: no one going in, no one coming out.
2-5 God spoke to Joshua, "Look sharp now. I've already given Jericho to you, along with its king and its crack troops. Here's what you are to do: March around the city, all your soldiers. Circle the city once. Repeat this for six days. Have seven priests carry seven ram's horn trumpets in front of the Chest. On the seventh day march around the city seven times, the priests blowing away on the trumpets. And then, a long blast on the ram's horn—when you hear that, all the people are to shout at the top of their lungs. The city wall will collapse at once. All the people are to enter, every man straight on in." 6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and told them, "Take up the Chest of the Covenant. Seven priests are to carry seven ram's horn trumpets leading God's Chest."

7 Then he told the people, "Set out! March around the city. Have the armed guard march before the Chest of God."

8-9 And it happened. Joshua spoke, the people moved: Seven priests with their seven ram's horn trumpets set out before God. They blew the trumpets, leading God's Chest of the Covenant. The armed guard marched ahead of the trumpet-blowing priests; the rear guard was marching after the Chest, marching and blowing their trumpets.

10 Joshua had given orders to the people, "Don't shout. In fact, don't even speak—not so much as a whisper until you hear me say, 'Shout!'—then shout away!"

There is a wall around your "Jericho", your promise from God. God has already given it to you. God has given you specific instructions as He did Joshua. God said march around that wall. In other words, turn down your plate and fast. Along with your fasting you need warfare prayer. Many Christians don't release the power of music. Part of the reason that praise and worship is important because music, first of all comes from God. God sings! Second, music has the ability to change the atmosphere. Remember Lucifer's job? The was the chief worship leader. he can praise unto God.

Your victory in this situation is in your mouth. Sing unto the Lord, make a melody. Even if you are no a "singer", sing. As you begin to praise and worship God change will come. Praise and worship are weapons of warfare. Don't let that wall intimidate you. March around it, then...Shout! Shout! Shout! Then watch that wall fall down flat.

Let the Weak Say

Joel 3:10b
New King James Version

10b Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’”

The Bible declares, let the weak say, I am strong. You are perfected by weakness. When you are not able to deal with what life has thrown you, declare that you are strong. In order for your best to come out, you must be broken. God has placed a beautiful anointing in you. The only way it can comes forth is if you're broken. Out of the ashes this situation, comes your strength. You praise is stronger. Your worship is stronger. Your prayer life is stronger.

You have not been forgotten. You are not just another face in the crowd. God knows the plans He has for you. Because you are at a weak point, your relationship with God has gotten deeper. Don't look at the circumstance, but look at how much you've grown. You are stronger, wiser, and some much better. You may be so weak right now that you can't see how you'll ever get through this. When you are anointed, will cost you something.

Are You Busy?

1 Thessalonians 4:11
New Living Translation

11 Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before.

It is easy to look at the lives of others and see areas that need improvement. It is always more difficult to look at yourself and see areas that need improvement. God is so loving that He allows us to be purged of those things. He does it in many ways. He may allow a major storm to come into your life to help you set some things in order. He quietly removed people or things from your life to help you rearrange your priorities.

My mother often told me, " You have six months to mind your business, and six months to leave everyone else's alone". In other words, you need to spend your time working on yourself.Minding others people's business is not always a negative thing. You can help someone so much that you become too busy to pray, read your Bible, and fast. It is possible to do good works and not be about God's business. Are you busy being busy?Take care of your relationship with God. Spend time basking in the glow of His presence and everything will take care of itself. Make it your goal to quiet yourself before Him everyday. If you are like me, being quiet is sometimes hard to do. As you begin to quiet yourself, more of God's glory is revealed.

Healing in His Wings

Malachi 4:2
New International Version

2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.

The body of Christ is under attack. There are three major areas of attack lately. The people of God have been experiencing a lot of sickness, financial problems, and depression/oppression. The good news is that all who call on the name of Jesus will be healed. He was bruised for your transgressions, wounded for your iniquities, and the chastisement of your peace was upon Him. By His stripes, you are healed. He is healing your body, your finances, and your mind right now.

There is nothing that God cannot heal.In this season, pray like never before. Fast along with your prayer. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Pray this prayer:

Father in name of Jesus, I come against the mountain of sickness. I decree and declare that I am healed and spirit filled. Sickness and disease are far from me. I command every system, every cell in my body to function as God designed in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that I am the head and not the tail. I am a lender, not a borrower. The wealth of the wicked is no longer laid up for me but is released to me, NOW! I command Satan to cough it up, spit it out, release it, and let it go. In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that my thoughts are now subject to the Lordship of Christ. No weapon formed against shall prosper. Spirit of oppression, I bind you and I loose your effect. Spirit of depression, I bind you and I loose your effect. In the name of Jesus, I speak to my DNA and decree and declare that it is free. Everything that the devil stole from me, he must return to me sevenfold. I cast my burdens on the Lord. I am a son/daughter of the King of Kings. Everything I touch turns into prophetic "gold". I am blessed in the city, in the fields, when I come and when I go. I seal this prayer in Jesus' name. Amen!

Praise Him right now.

Building Intimacy With God

Unknown

GENESIS 16:1-17:8

Intimacy with God doesn't just happen. It requires determination and a significant investment of time and effort. As we seek closeness with Him, we must learn:

• Conflict Resolution - In human disputes, there is usually error on both sides. But if we find ourselves in conflict with God, then we know we are in the wrong; the Lord is always right. When Abraham fathered a child by Hagar, there was great strife in his home. God kept His promise to make Abraham a father of many nations but did not lift the multi-generational discord that resulted from his actions.

· Trust—Intimacy grows only in an atmosphere of trust. As we understand God's character more, our confidence grows, and we are drawn closer to Him. Our part is to show ourselves trustworthy.

· Risk Taking—The more we reveal who we are in Jesus Christ, the more we risk facing arguments, experiencing rejection, or being misunderstood. (very true) But God understands us fully and promises that we belong to Him forever. (John 10:27-29) And any disagreements with Him can be resolved by yielding our desires, seeking His viewpoint, and asking for deeper faith.

· Agreement—For us to maintain a close affinity with God, our schedule and plans must reflect His priorities. We are to be available for His use and open to His directions.

God designed us for intimacy with Him. All that He requires is our presence and cooperation. What priority have you placed on building a deeper relationship with Him?

Are the Motives Right?

Luke 9:15-17
The Message

14-17But he went ahead and directed his disciples, "Sit them down in groups of about fifty." They did what he said, and soon had everyone seated. He took the five loaves and two fish, lifted his face to heaven in prayer, blessed, broke, and gave the bread and fish to the disciples to hand out to the crowd. After the people had all eaten their fill, twelve baskets of leftovers were gathered up.

There were people around Jesus just because of the miracles. Their motives weren't pure. They were not seeking salvation. They were not trying to be healed or delivered; they just wanted a free lunch. Understand, there are and will be people around you for the wrong reasons. They don't want your God, they see what God is doing for you and through you and they want to ride your coat tail.

Take a good look at the people around you. Do they people in your life strengthen you? Do they encourage you? Do they have your best interest at heart? Or are they there to get what they can? If you are down do they pick you up? If you are going through, do they call you?

When God has placed an anointing on your life, there will be people around with the wrong motives. What are your motives? Do you serve God because of who He is? Are you seeking His face? Are you just serving Him for material reasons? May sure that what you do for Christ is for His glory and not yours. When you have people hanging around telling you how wonderful you are, it is easy to lose focus. Take inventory of your life right now. Are the motives right?

He is Driving Out the Enemy

Isaiah 59:19
King James Version

19So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

He did it then, and He will do it again. The word of God says when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard against him. The enemy may be coming in like a flood right now. But God will lift up a standard. In other words, the devil may be acting like a fool right now but you are the child of the King of kings. Think back over your life. Remember the times when God stepped down out of glory and make the devil back up. Remember how He clothed Himself in His garments of war and told the devil to back up! Do you see Him? He has already come down off His throne. He has His war clothes on! Your Heavenly Father has already jumped up in this. It's not your battle, it's His!

You may have felt death coming for you, but God. You may have thought you were going to lose your mind, but God. You may have thought debt would swallow you up, but God. The devil may have tried to get you to kill yourself or somebody else, but God. So many times God has gathered his arsenal of weapons and beat the devil down for you. Remember this and get it in your spirit, He has done it before and will do it time and time again because you are His.

Your child may be in jail or on drugs. Your spouse may be getting ready to walk away. Your bills may be past due and they are talking about cut backs on your job...trust God is working it out. He knows just how much you can handle. He knows when enough is enough. God is driving out the enemy right now!

BEING IN LOVE

Luke 10:27a
King James Version

27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul...

Think back to when you met that man/woman that you just knew would be the one. Remember when you realized/admitted to yourself that you loved him/her. Now remember how much you wanted to act like you were in a movie, and yell to everyone in the football stadium "I love (fill in the name)!" You told family and friends how perfect he/she was; he/she was just what you were looking for.

Well, I told THE LORD that I love Him today.
And He said to me, "How much do you love me?
You haven't told anyone how good I've been to you. You haven't shared how perfect my love is. You haven't spread the good news that I am always there to listen to your problems.

You haven't told your family how I helped you pay your bills when you didn't have a high paying job, or how I got you a better one.

You haven't shared with anyone how I took away that addiction that would have cost you not only your job, but also that man/woman that was just what you were looking for.

So how much do you really love me?"
So, I said I would share with my friends and family (for starters) just how wonderful, perfect, understanding, patient, loving, unselfish, considerate and forgiving GOD really is.

He has blessed me with a family that loves me and friends that I can confide in.
But even more than that, He has saved me from destruction I couldn't even see coming.

He gave to me the peace of knowing Him, and He has never broken a promise.
Truly He is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

And I stand in my stadium today to tell to you all,
"I LOVE THE LORD!"

Keep Your Mouth Closed

Psalm 141:3
New Life Version

3 O Lord, put a watch over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips.

Sometimes it is best not to say anything. Words have power. When you are in the midst of a situation where it is imperative that you be quiet. In life, one of the hardest things to do is to be quiet. You may be in a situation where people are lying on you and you want to defend yourself. But God has it under control. You may see someone you love headed for a potentially disastrous situation, be quiet. God is in control.

When you are upset, it is best to keep your mouth closed. You may say something that will hurt someone and you can't take it back. The wrong word at the wrong time is dangerous. The lesson is to be quiet and pray. It is not easy to do. As humans, we want to speak but there is a time to be quiet. It is a process. Pray this prayer: Lord, put a watch over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips.

Stay In the Moment

Psalm 118:24
Contemporary English Version

24This day belongs to the LORD!

Let's celebrate

and be glad today.

Yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not promised, all you have is today. You may have cried yourself to sleep last night but be glad today. Your bank account may be low but celebrate the fact that you have a source of income. Today is the best day you have so stay in the moment. Don't worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself. This day belongs to the Lord! Celebrate the fact that you lived to see another day. You may be sick in your body but you woke up.

Fred Hammond did a wonderful arrangement of the song, "This Is the Day". The song says, "even though I cried last Tuesday and I was out of cash by Friday, This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." Regardless of your circumstances, God blessed you to see another day. Enjoy the blessings that God has given you today. Praise Him for today. Stay in the moment. The enemy wants you to worry about the things you cannot change. He also wants to get you caught up in the "what ifs" in life. All you have is this moment. All you have is today. Celebrate and be glad!

Alone In His Presence

Genesis 32:24
Holman Christian Standard Bible

24 Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak.

There are times when you must be alone with God. There are some victories, blessings, instructions, and deliverances that come by being alone in His presence. You have to separate yourself from people and things and be alone in His presence. How do you strengthen your relationship with anyone? By spending time with them. Either you separate yourself or God will pull you away.

It is vital for you to spend time alone in with God. You don't owe anyone an explanation. Don't worry about what people say. They may saw it is not necessary. You only have to answer to God. You perform only for an audience of one- the Lord Jesus Christ. Jacob found that out. He was left alone in the presence of God. That is where he finally got his breakthrough. Afterwards, he was able to walk into the blessings God had for him. He was no longer Jacob, but Israel. God will change your name too. Don't forsake your fellowship with God.

When God Calls You Out of Your Comfort Zone

Genesis 12:1-4
New Living Translation

Genesis 12

1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”
4 So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

We all like to be comfortable. At times, you become complacent. But,when God calls you out, be obedient. You never know what blessings await you. When God calls you out, it is not going to be easy. It will require you to leave the people and places that are comfortable behind. God told Abram to do just that. Remember, God will not call you into something worse than what you have. God calls you out to upgrade you. He will bless you and make you a blessing to others.

In verse 4, Abram took Lot with him. Lot was his nephew. When God called Abram out, He did not tell him to bring Lot. You cannot take everyone with you. God gives very specific directions. Don't add anything to them. Understand, everyone is not called to go where God id taking you. You very well may have to leave your geographical area. You may have to leave friends and family members behind. If you take them, they may prove to be a hindrance, not a help. Everyone is not going to be happy about the things God is doing for you and through you.

I declare right now that God is calling you out of your comfort zone. If you come out, He will bless you beyond measure and make you a blessing to others. Follow the directions God gives you, don't add anything to them.

Answered Prayer

Isaiah 55:11
The Message

So will the words that come out of my mouth
not come back empty-handed.
They'll do the work I sent them to do,
they'll complete the assignment I gave them.

You have prayed, fasted, stood on the word of God, even cried. God is about to do things for you that you would not even dream in your wildest dreams! Sit back and marvel as you see the manifestation of the things God told you. Look around! Everywhere you turn, He is blessing you. You are in a season of manifestation. God has plans for you. God is not a man. He cannot lie, He cannot fail.

He is answering those prayers that you forgot about. He is going to show out for you. He is going to respond to your very thoughts because your ways please Him. He knows that you are not perfect but you are humble. You have been seeking His face and not His hand. You will have what you say, even what you think because it lines up with the will of God concerning you. God has dotted every I and crossed every T. What should you do? Praise Him. Praise Him like you have lost your mind.

Your Steps Are Ordered

Psalm 37:23
Contemporary English Version

23If you do what the LORD wants, he will make certain each step you take is sure.

God is concerned about everything that concerns you. Every detail of your life is taken care of by a loving Father. God will allow you to make divine connections not because of you but because it is what He has for you. The King James version says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Even those things that you think God will allow to happen if you are doing His will. God is a loving God and will allow you to connect with people to accomplish His plans and purposes for you.

Know that your steps are ordered. He has made provision for your vision. He has been working hard behind the scenes to accomplish His plans and purposes for you. When He reveals to you what He has been doing, it will blow your mind. You will sit back and know that it was no one but God. Your divine connection is for His glory. If you make one step, that is be obedient and do the work He has given you; He will open doors that no man can close.

Darkest Before Dawn

Intensified Battle Going On

"Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi." Matthew 2:16

In the days succeeding Jesus' birth, King Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the magi. He was furious and gave orders to kill all the boys who were two years old and under in Bethlehem and its vicinity, with the intention of stopping Jesus' destiny from being fulfilled.

So the same is happening today.

Satan, sensing that God is planning out something GREAT AND AWESOME is bent on stopping the realization of this great event. Just like Herod, he is on a rampage and is now unleashing his blind rage against God's people.

Our Heavenly Father is reminding us today NOT TO FOCUS ON WHAT IS SEEN. There is a great spiritual Heavenly battle going on and we who are God's warriors and watchmen are in the forefront of this battle. Just like during the times of Job, there is a greater drama unfolding in the Heavenly realm and just as God allowed Job to be tested, so we, His children, have been tested in the same measure.

What To Expect

God's children may experience different spheres of attacks and we may be affected on different levels and in different manners. Some who used to be active in ministry, but because of various circumstances happening in your midst (change of job, physical ailments, family troubles, financial difficulties), may find themselves having to stop doing what they love most, and at times will find themselves holding an empty bag, so to speak.

Others may experience great emotional attack. In the past, you have been moving in such strong anointing and now you may feel empty, detached, uncertain, and wonder if something is wrong with you and wonder if God has removed His protection from over your life.

What His children will experience will parallel what Job had experienced in his time. The area of attack and the intensity of the attack will be such that outwardly, it will appear to be very devastating to the affected ones.

This Is Not the End!

Our Heavenly Father is reminding us today that this is not the end. In fact, compared to the degree of suffering that we have been facing today, the blessing that He is preparing for us is FAR GREATER IN MAGNITUDE AND INTENSITY. This is the reason why the enemy is panicking and unleashing his wrath in such manner and intensity as well.

Beware Of the Spirit of Condemnation

This is the season to fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. He is faithful and He will not allow us to be tested beyond what we can bear. We must be careful not to pass judgment and to not make conclusions based on outward appearances. Things will not be as they seem.

Those suffering the most today are not "deserted children," but are the "favored beloved" of the Most High. For truly to whom much is given, much too will be required. And as people of God, when we see others suffering greatly, we are to ask for great wisdom and discernment on how to comfort each other.

We must be aware of the enemy's tactics this season--he will be TWISTING the meaning of much of what we hear and see from one another.

Those believers who are experiencing the fullness of God's blessings in this season must be extra careful with their words, as most times instead of bringing comfort to the suffering ones, it can cause them to feel more insecure, unsure, and even depressed, especially when hearing the words, "You need to have more faith," or "Just believe, etc. "

We must be careful not to act like Job's friends. Their well-meaning exhortation of "the causes of Job's difficulties" were useless then in ministering to Job.

The Weapons of Our Warfare--HONESTY, YIELDING and SURRENDER

Jericho was conquered not by physical fighting, but by silence and praise. So today, the weapons of our warfare will also be nontraditional.

As we struggle through our difficult situations (questions, negative thoughts and feelings that overwhelm us mentally, spiritually and physically, and grasp at why these things are happening to us, trying to make sense of what God is wanting to teach us)--our Loving Wonderful Heavenly Father is reminding us today that HE KNOWS WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH (see Psalm 139).

BE HONEST WITH OUR FEELINGS TO HIM. We need not be afraid to verbalize and express all of our negative emotions (doubts, anxieties, disappointments, questions, anger, frustrations, jealous feelings, etc.). Reading through the Book of Psalms, we can see how God's suffering saints of old had struggles with the same emotions and they were so open in expressing these feelings to God. We need to do the same today.

LETTING GO. We are to daily and continually practice the art of yielding and surrender. As these burdens overwhelm us, let us consciously learn to "pass the ball" back to God. It is not an easy task sometimes to learn and relearn to "live one day at a time."

Beyond What We can Imagine or Perceive

Our Father's message to us today:

"My child, I know what's happening. I know that 'you knew' that I am in control. I know in this season, you don't feel anything, yet your heart continues to trust in Me. I know about all these things and I Am pleased with you.

Don't let the enemy deceive you. He will make you feel unimportant, insignificant, useless, weak, and of no use to Me. But THIS IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH.

Where you are standing now, many times seemingly in the valley of the shadow of death--is where YOU ARE THE STRONGEST. Just like My Son Jesus when He struggled in the garden of Gethsemane, where His sweat became droplets of blood--that was His moment of triumph. So the same is happening to you, today.

Even as you struggle daily to just stay afloat, to just keep things together, to just stay alive--great breakthrough is happening in the Heavenly realm. Your life has become My most powerful weapon of breaking through the spiritual darkness of these times.

So be strong and be of good courage, your labor will not be in vain. I am taking your every sigh, every drop of your tears, and I am using them as powerful weapons to break down the spiritual walls of the enemy. Only in eternity will you fully grasp and see the fullness of your labor and surrender.

I love you dearly, precious one, and I have not forgotten you...remember this, and carve this once again in your hearts and minds today."

Don't Look Back

Genesis 19:17
American Standard Version

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

When God brings you out of a situation, don't look back. In this verse, Abraham's nephew Lot was allowed to leave Sodom and Gomorrah before it was destroyed. The angel told him to escape for his life and don't look back. When God delivers you, don't look back. Sometimes when you look back, you are tempted to go back.

Once God has brought you out of your personal Sodom and Gomorrah, don't look back. Keep looking forward. Keep moving forward. There is nothing for you back there. You can rejoice as you think about how far God has brought you. Think back but don't look back. If you look back, you may go back. If you go back, you will be destroyed!

Shout! You Have the Victory

1 Corinthians 15:54-56
New American Standard Bible

54But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.

55"O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?"

56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law;

You have victory! There is nothing that you cannot overcome. You are an over comer, more than a conqueror. There is nothing that can harm you because you are a child of the King. There have been many attacks on the saints lately. But the outcome is, we win! You have victory, no devil in hell can stop what God is about to do!

The enemy is trying to kill that ministry, that promise, that anointing. God is preparing you for greatness in these end times. The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. BUT...God has come that you might have abundant life. O death, where is your victory? Where is your sting? Death is swallowed up in victory.

O Sing!

Zephaniah 3:17
New International Version

17 The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."

Sing to the Lord. He sings over you. Singing is a weapon of warfare. Singing also calms. God rejoices over you with singing. he sings a love song to you. Sing back! There is power in your singing. Singing caused the Jericho wall to come down. O sing! What do you do when you're in love? You sing.

Sing unto the Lord. Whatever song is in your spirit sing. God doesn't care if you can carry a note. Singing will free you. It is a release. If you're happy, sing! If you're going through, sing! There is great power in songs. That is why the world is always lasting their music. Music has the power to touch your soul.

Do This:
At your house or in your car, sing. Turn up your song and sing to your Lord. He's already singing over you.

Are You Battle Ready?

Ephesians 6:11-18
Amplified Bible

1Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the [a]firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness [b]produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.(A)

16Lift up over all the [covering] shield of [c]saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit [d]wields, which is the Word of God.

18Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).

Are you battle ready? We are at war! Who is your opponent? The devil also known as the adversary. So many times, Christians waste time an energy fighting the wrong opponent. The devil is and always will be your opponent. He is a formidable one at that. We are not fighting our brothers and sisters. We are not fighting those that have done us wrong and say all manner of evil about us. The Bible teaches that we don't fight against flesh and blood (people) but against principalities, powers, spiritual wickedness in high places. Warfare takes place in the heavenlies, the church, and in your mind. Keep the helmet of salvation and the sword which is the word of God.

You must always by ready for battle. Your opponent doesn't fight fair. He is sucker punch you. If you haven't been praying, fasting, and reading the word, he will devour you. Remember, the stronger the anointing from God you have - the stronger the attack will be from the adversary! He comes to kill, steal, and destroy. He takes his job seriously. He means to do just that. Therefore, you must always stay battle ready. Use every weapon available to you. There is power in the blood of Jesus, there is power in His name. Don't ever forget that. It you can't say anything else, say "the blood of Jesus" or "Jesus"!

Don't be a causality of war.

Can You Speak Louder God?

Daniel 8:15-16
American Standard Version

15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

"Can you speak louder, God?", have you ever said these words or thought them? Of course you have. We all have at one time or another. God has given you a vision. But you are not quite sure you understand it. If you understand it,you aren't sure how it is going to happen. You may even doubt if it was God in the first place. You need clear vision and crisp understanding. Ask for it. You delight to do His will,He knows that. You want to please Him, and don't want to do anything out of His will.

Pray for clear vision and understanding. You may have to get on your face before God. You may also have to close some channels. In other words, don't turn on the television looking for a word. Don't call your prayer partner looking for a word. Don't turn on the computer looking for a word, get quite before the Lord. He will answer. It is perfectly fine for you to ask God to "speak louder". What you are actually ask for His confirmation of the things He told you. He will send confirmation, be open to receive.

Master Tailor

Matthew 9:19-21
New Life Version

19 Jesus got up and followed him. His followers went also. 20 Just then a woman who had been sick with a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind. She touched the bottom of His coat. 21 She said to herself, "If I only touch the bottom of His coat, I will be healed."

Jesus has a miracle tailored for your situation. All you have to do is touch Him and you will be healed. You may not have been bleeding continually for 12 years, you may have been unemployed for a year and a half and the father of lies, told you that you will never find a job. You may be employed but underemployed; your income may not meet your needs. You may have been single for the past 40 years or been divorced three times already. Jesus always meets you at the point of your need. He is not going to give a car to someone without a driver's license.

Jesus tailors everything just for you. He builds the miracle, deliverance, or breakthrough based on you...that's right you. The only thing it will cost you for your custom made miracle is faith. The Bible says that faith the size of a mustard seed will cause mountains to move. What God has for you, is for you. You may be on welfare right now. You may be looked down on...touch the hem of His garment. He knows about your situation. He is a master tailor. He has a miracle to fit your need. Reach up and receive.

Jesus Knows What You're Going Through

Hebrews 4:15
English Standard Version

15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

What I love some much about Jesus is that He is not a high priest. He is not this unattainable Saviour that is watching us from Heaven. He is able to feel what we feel. He came down from Heaven and took on the form of man to be acquainted with every thought, every hurt, every emotion that we deal with. Jesus knows what it's like to be hungry. He knows what it feels like to lose a loved one. He knows what it is feels like to be angry. He understands what it's like to be betrayed by people you only tried to love and help. He knows all about what you feel.

He dwelt among us, He felt what you are feeling right now.The devil even tempted Him. Here is the best part, He overcame it. Therefore, you can over come. He endured it and sinned not. You are an heir, a joint heir with Jesus. You will suffer some time. You will be misunderstood, betrayed, angry, and even broken hearted some time. Jesus also felt joy, happiness, and fulfillment from doing the will of God. You too will experience joy, happiness, and fulfillment as you do the will of God.

He is not a high priest.Jesus loved you so much that He put on flesh to understand everything you think and feel.

Say It, See It

Genesis 1:3
Holman Christian Standard Bible

3 Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

God has given you many promises. God has spoke things to you through the Word, other people, and directly into your spirit. The enemy is trying to rob you. He is trying to discourage you because you have not seen some of the promises come to pass, yet. Remember this very important point, say what God has told you. Say it out loud! Let the devil know that what he is trying to do isn't going to work. Shout in the face of the enemy those things which were told to you by your God. God cannot lie. His word never returns to Him void.

In the beginning, God said....and it was. He formed the earth with His words. Israel Houghton said in a song once, "say what you heard, so you can see what you said". The same power to speak things into existence also dwells in you. God made you in His likeness. When you don't know what to do, and the devil tries to make you frustrated...say it and see it. If you need God to illuminate your situation, say these four simple yet powerful words, "Let there be light".

Uniquely Yours

1 Samuel 17:38-39
The Message

38-39 Then Saul outfitted David as a soldier in armor. He put his bronze helmet on his head and belted his sword on him over the armor. David tried to walk but he could hardly budge.

David told Saul, "I can't even move with all this stuff on me. I'm not used to this." And he took it all off.

God has given you gifts, blessings, a calling, an anointing that is uniquely yours. When you are in a battle like David was, you can't use someone else's weapons. You cannot fight your Goliath fitted with someone else's armor. Your mother may be a great prayer warrior. So, you think if you pray like her, things will change. Of course you should pray, but the way she prays isn't your weapon. It's the way you pray. God may be calling you to war in the form of praise and worship. Your breakthrough may not come just from prayer. You may need to add praise and worship to it.

You may see people in your church doing great exploits for God. There may be a brother that can preach the walls down. Then, you decide that you can preach too. You want to be in the pulpit. You may want that glory, but don't know this story. The point is this...you are not called to duplicate his anointing. You may be a preacher in your own right but preach like you, not him. The dreams, goals, and visions that God has given you are uniquely yours. If you try to walk in someone else's "shoes", you will be miserable. You can't move into what God has for you with someone else's stuff.

Celebrate the uniqueness of you.

You Were Not Created to Be Ordinary

1 Peter 2:9
Amplified Bible

9But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

You were not created to be ordinary. God is not a God of mediocrity. There is greatness in you. Don't ever apologize for who God created you to be or do. Many times God tells us to do something. Then we decide to do it. Then we tell others about it looking for affirmation. Some will be excited about what God is doing through you. Others will try to convince you that it can't be done. People that don't take chances don't make advances. In other words, step out on faith. The word of God says that you are special people. The King James Version says peculiar.

What does it mean to be peculiar?

Peculiar: 1. Unusual or eccentric; odd.2. Distinct from all others.3. Belonging distinctively or primarily to one person, group, or kind; special or unique: rights peculiar to the rich; a species peculiar to this area. 4. A privilege or property that is exclusively one's own.

People will always talk about you. Let them talk. You have been set apart to do great works for Him. Celebrate the uniqueness that is you. You were not created to be ordinary.

Who Can Fathom The Depths of His Love?

Ephesians 3:17-19
New Life Version

17 I pray that Christ may live in your hearts by faith. I pray that you will be filled with love. 18 I pray that you will be able to understand how wide and how long and how high and how deep His love is. 19 I pray that you will know the love of Christ. His love goes beyond anything we can understand. I pray that you will be filled with God Himself.

Who can fathom the depths of God's love? God is love. God loves you so much that you cannot even comprehend the love God has for you. I stand in awe of this Holy God. He is worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. This love is overwhelming. David the Psalmist said it best, "Who am I that He is mindful of me?" He is the God who created the Heavens and the Earth. Yet, He is constantly thinking of you. He wants to bless you. He wants to make the impossible, possible in your life.

When you begin to understand the love God has for you, it is humbling. We have all sinned and come short the glory of God; but, He still loves us. If you don't know Him, I pray that you get to know Him today. Ask Him to come into your life. He will give you love, joy, and peace. He will give you love like no one could ever give. God's love is unconditional. There is nothing that you have to do to get it. He gives it freely. He asks for nothing in return. Every time you turn around He is blessing you. He blessed you to see another day. Your alarm clock did not wake you up this morning. A loving and Holy God kissed you to wake you up this morning.

My prayer for you today is that you are able to understand God's love for you. Test His love for you. See how deep it is, how wide, how long, and how high.

Gather Your Blessings Before You Ask For More

Conrad Lampan:

"GATHER YOUR BLESSINGS BEFORE YOU ASK FOR MORE"

I was having a chat with the Lord one day, and asked Him some questions about my troubles in a time of adjustment in my life which involved many changes. All the changes seemed to overwhelm me, and to top it all off, dire financial needs like storm clouds were glooming over my head. Have you been there? I am sure you have, and I am sure you know what I am talking about.

As I was chatting and asking the Holy Spirit some questions, He told me to say the Lord's Prayer. My attitude was like, "Why?" But anyway, I started saying it. "Our Father...deliver us from evil...." (Matthew 10). There, He stopped me, and said, "I promised you I will deliver you from evil, but I never said you were going to have a trouble-free life."

MY GOD DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!

In fact--He went on to say, "Your troubles might bless you." Say what?! I said to Him, "Look, I know You are the Holy Spirit and You know everything, but unless You explain this, I cannot swallow it." He then pointed me to Hosea 2:14, where I read things that totally prove we serve a God that does not make sense. My God does not make any sense!

God says that He will "allure her into the wilderness and...speak comfort to her." Come on! Comfort in the wilderness? Then, in verse 15, He says that He "will give her vineyards from there." Really? Just in case you do not know about the valley of Achor, where God says He will give "her vineyards from there," it is a desert in the middle of the wilderness! Another name for it is the "valley of death." Vineyards? And to top it all, He also says in verse 15, that the valley of Achor "will be your gate of hope."

The Lord said to me, "Don't you see it?" "I don't," I said. He then said, "Look again." I retorted, "Lord, I just don't get Your point." And that's when He shouted to me:

"YOUR TROUBLES CAN BE THE GATE TO YOUR BLESSINGS!"

How could that be? The Holy Spirit then said, "Stay with Me, and I will show you where lies the hinge, over which the door revolves--from troubles to blessings."

He then took me to 2 Kings 19, where we read the story of Jerusalem surrounded by the Assyrians with Sennacherib at the head. The siege was long, and the heathen king even blasphemed the Lord. King Hezekiah and the nation were in dire need, and they were facing certain death. Then Hezekiah went into the temple and called Isaiah to a prayer meeting. There, Isaiah made intercession for Hezekiah and for the nation. And the answer came.

BECAUSE YOU PRAYED

The Holy Spirit then noted to me that He will never ever answer a prayer that has not been made! Only "because you prayed" will you then have deliverance.

And surely as daylight, deliverance came for them. As you continue to read the story in 2 Kings 19, 185,000 enemy soldiers were killed by the Angel of the Lord and Sennacherib, king of Assyria, broke camp and withdrew!

But I was still thinking of how "troubles can be a blessing." I thought here that, "The blessing was actually the deliverance from trouble," but the trouble itself did not look to me like a blessing. If it was a blessing in disguise, I have to admit, it was the master of disguise!

And the Holy Spirit pointed me to some history, particularly the history of ancient warfare. In ancient times, an army like the Assyrians, would go out on campaigns that lasted months or even years. In many cases, they would conquer and subjugate a city or nation, and instead of going home, they would simply continue to the next city to conquer. This seems to be the case with Sennacherib as it shows when he is boasting--it seems he was riding on a highway of victories, leaving behind conquered lands and subjugated peoples.

AFTER YOU PRAY: GATHER!

I said to the Lord, "What do you want me to gather from this portion of history?" And He just said, "Gather." Oh, right! What? My head was already spinning as usual when I get into a direct talk with the Holy Spirit. He gives me peace, but He makes my brain smoke!

He said that the Assyrians were in a conquering campaign and they had already submitted quite a few nations, and they surely took big spoils and tribute from them. Where was the gold and silver they took? Where were all the valuables they took from the conquered peoples? They did not send boxes of gold via UPS ground, and there were no FED-EX planes yet. They had all the goods with them; they were carrying it all with them!

THEY LEFT THEIR GOODS AT THE GATES OF JERUSALEM AND FLED!

This is our God! This is the unfathomable God. Only one such God can allow the mightiest army in the world (at that time) to come and siege Jerusalem, and then God Himself slews a big chunk of them, causing the rest of them to flee in absolute terror, leaving behind their possessions. I said, "Lord, the Bible does not say that they left all the gold there." Oh my! I should know better by now to not teach the Bible to the Holy Spirit. He simply asked me, "Do you think that the Assyrians, in all their terror, would take time to gather their gold when they were running for their lives?" No, they left all the stuff behind so that the people in Jerusalem could gather it all. And it all happened "because people prayed,"--that's the hinge!

OPEN YOUR GATES, NOT THE GATES OF HEAVEN

So many times, we keep crying to God to open the gates of Heaven and send blessings, when we could simply open the gates we have and gather the blessings God's "already" caused to be left at our gates--when we prayed! But this takes action--we need to act, open the gates, step out in faith and believe God!

Nothing will happen that you do not pray for; but many times the blessings you prayed for are already at your gates. Because you prayed, they were sent to you; because you prayed, blessings were stored at your front door; because you prayed, He came with deliverance; because you prayed, He came with provision.

God will never answer a prayer that has not been made. But then again, God will never answer your prayers by sending quail flying into your camp already roasted!

Be blessed and be a blessing!

Pour Out Your Heart

1 Samuel 1:11-18
Holman Christian Standard Bible

11 Making a vow, she pleaded, "LORD of Hosts, if You will take notice of Your servant's affliction, remember and not forget me, and give Your servant a son, I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and his hair will never be cut."

12 While she was praying in the Lord's presence, Eli watched her lips. 13 Hannah was speaking to herself, and although her lips were moving, her voice could not be heard. Eli thought she was drunk 14 and scolded her, "How long are you going to be drunk? Get rid of your wine!"

15 "No, my lord," Hannah replied. "I am a woman with a broken heart. I haven't had any wine or beer; I've been pouring out my heart before the LORD. 16 Don't think of me as a wicked woman; I've been praying from the depth of my anguish and resentment."

17 Eli responded, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant the petition you've requested from Him."

18 "May your servant find favor with you," she replied. Then Hannah went on her way; she ate and no longer appeared downcast.

There are times in life when you need a breakthrough. You need God to do the impossible. You pray then wait. You start to believe that it is not going to happen. Sometimes you have to cry out of the depths of your soul. You have to pray a prayer that moves Heaven.

The Word of God says to pour out your heart before Him. Power belongs to God. Sometimes yo become angry with God or resentful because it seems like He is not moving. It alright to take that to God. He is your Father. He already knows what is in your heart. Why does He want me t pour out my heart you might ask? He wants you to come to a place of intimacy with Him that you will talk to Him like you talk to your best friend, parent, or spouse. Get to that place in God where you hold nothing back.

Lay It Aside

Hebrews 12:1-2
King James Version

Hebrews 12
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We all have besetting sins. These are the things that get us sidetracked. They are those things that pull you back from God. You are going along fine, working hard for the Lord and then you get off track. They are the things that are difficult to let go. At times, we fool ourselves into believing "that's just who I am". The devil is a liar. That is not who you are.

Besetting sins are not always things like fornication, lying, drugs, or drinking. The are things that we have programmed ourselves not to think of as sin. Things like a bad attitude, not tithing, not reading the Word like you should, or even overeating. Even deciding to stay home from church to do laundry, watch TV, or stay home just to stay is a besetting sin. Maybe up in your mind today not to be held back but whatever is holding you back. Run the race that God has set before you with faith and endurance. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He endured the cross, so there is nothing you cannot endure. He conquered hell and death so there is nothing you cannot conquer.

You can stop cursing people out. You can stop lying, cheating, gossiping. You can stop doubting God. You can start tithing, going to Bible study, Sunday School, and service regularly. Lay aside every weight, let go of what is holding you back, and run your race with faith.

Overcoming Stress

Romans 5:1-5
(The Message)

1-2By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.

3-5There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Stress: A specific response by the body to a stimulus, as fear or pain, that disturbs or interferes with the normal physiological equilibrium of an organism.
Physical, mental, or emotional strain or tension: Worry over his job and his wife's health put him under a great stress.

You are human. We all experience stress at one time or another. Stress is a normal reaction to certain situations. We all go into 'Fight or Flight' mode. Your adrenaline starts pumping, it's normal. That is the body's way of dealing with stress. It is normal to experience stress during a major life change. On the other hand, stress becomes a way of life for some. Everything causes them to be stressed out. Some become stressed when they cannot decide what to have for breakfast.

Does God want you to be stressed? No. God allows situations to come into your life to mature you and prepare you for your purpose. The "wait" is stressful for some people. Sometimes situations come at you one after the other. Take heart. God is actually working things out in you and for you.

Here is how you overcome stress:
